GUARDIANS OF THE ARCHES ARE CROWDFUNDING
Our sister organisation Guardians of the Arches launched their crowdfunding campaign on Monday. Now with more than 100 backers and at 31% of their goal with £12,906 raised, they are off to a flying start! Solidarity with Guardians on this initiative meets our core aims and objectives because they’re a partner on our Affordable Workspace Manifesto, helping to push it forward at a national level. This will help us to influence policy at central government in the future. We are doing brilliantly with local government at present but real change for many of our important issues, including business rates requires action from Westminster.

Next Social!
For our next social gathering, we will be joining the Blackhorse Lane Street Party on 8th June organised by members Armstrong Audio!
Time: 12pm – 6pm
Location: Junction of Blackhorse Lane/ Clifton Ave, E17 6HJ.
There will be Food, drink, live DJ, a record shop and face painting on the day! Plus an after party at fellow members Yonder across the road. There are many venues on the street hosting the E17 Art Trail so put the date in the diary it’s going to be huge fun!
RSA Future Work Lab for Retail Sector
The RSA would like to invite you to join us at a solutions lab on June 21st focused on challenges to good work in retail identified by the sector. On the day, they hope to learn from your expertise and spark your creativity to shape ideas to prototype good work interventions to pilot across the sector or within organisations. Working Rent
The GLA agreed this week to help seek funding for the next stage of research for working rent, our intention is that policy proposals will be ready before the end of the year, ready for the manifestos of the London Mayoral Election 2020.
