MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: VERSUS ARTS

We’re extremely fortunate to boast so many talented and diverse members of the Guild. Today hear from Can the proprietor of @versus__arts 114A Lower Clapton Road, E5 and learn about his vital space for creativity in the community.

“Versus Arts started with a love for art and a wish to bring it into daily life. Based in Hackney, it grew from a dream of mixing creativity and skill through custom framing, an art gallery, and digital twin services. Now, it’s a friendly spot where artists and art fans connect—a creative nook we’re happy to call ours.

I’d love to see Guild members collaborate organically—sharing ideas, skills, and even co-hosting events or workshops. Whether it’s pop-up exhibitions, joint projects, or casual meetups to exchange stories and spark creativity, fostering a supportive and inspiring community is key. Versus Arts could provide a space for us to try new things and make something special as a group. I’d also love to support our community by offering free framing for art students in need or providing our space for exhibitions organised by charities. Plus, we’re always offering our members a 10% discount on framing.

At Versus Arts, our strength lies in the care we bring to everything we do—crafting frames that hold memories or creating digital twins to bring art closer to everyone. We’re passionate about working together with others, making art feel warm, meaningful, and timeless, all while keeping our community at the heart of it all.
