The deadline to become a member is this Friday! What do businesses receive if they join?

There’s just five days to go! Our IndieGoGo campaign deadline is midnight this Friday the 8th July. If you’re self employed or own a business, don’t leave it too late to get a spot on our new Herb Lester map and to be involved with East End Independents’ day on Saturday 3rd December.

If we reach our funding goal we will work with all the small businesses that pledge their advance membership to develop bespoke events, talks and walking tours on Small Business Saturday 3^rd December. We want to celebrate the diversity and value that independents bring to our neighbourhoods, and simultaneously grow the capacity and collective voice we need to innovate for positive change on the issues our members care about.

In the last five days of our campaign we thought we would reiterate our mission and all the other benefits that members receive in return for their dues;

OUR MISSION is to bring the small businesses of the East End together to speak with one voice, harnessing public support and educating policy makers on the economic, social and cultural value that they bring to our neighbourhoods. Through our events and workshops we strengthen collaboration and trade between members and the wider community. By working with like-minded organisations we pursue innovation and positive change on the issues to effect small independents and the places to which they belong.
