Our founder – Gardners’ Bags is on the list of 100 businesses in the Guardian as part of the first bit of press for Small Business Saturday (3rd December). For 100 days in the run up, a small business is championed and profiled at a national level. Congratulations Paul!
East End Independents’ Day September Meetings
East End Independents’ Day takes place on the same day as Small Business Saturday. We are holding meetings for our members, local small businesses and anyone interested to help out to plan for it. If you’d like to get involved, find your nearest meeting and register via eventbrite;

Our summer BBQ
We wanted to say thank you to everyone who supported our crowdfunding campaign, so we held a BBQ on the 7th August for our members and friends who enjoyed a magical evening at Spitalfields Farm. We had the whole farm to ourselves and were treated to tour by manager Mhairi Weir. It’s a special place and we will be going back there again before too long! Monthly socials start properly for members from the end of January next year.
