  • The Women of the East End Tour of Bow & Roman Road will explore the interesting and important role that  women have played in shaping social and political history. From the Match Girls to the Suffragettes, we’ll learn first hand from local business owners the role that strong women play in the East End today as we drop in to talk to local businesswomen. The tour will culminate at G. Kelly – one of the East End’s oldest pie and mash  shops. The price of the tour includes pie and mash with a talk by Sarah Jackson from the East End Women’s  Museum.

  • There are two Spitalfields and Shoreditch tours that will follow closely to our original Alternative London Tour route with history, culture and street art of the East End but will also include exclusive access to local independent businesses along the way where you’ll experience talks and demonstrations from a wide variety of people who, together help to keep the area unique. The tour is around 2.5 hours.
