Fabrications #INDIEWKND

Established in 2000, Fabrications focuses on social textiles, crafting, upcycling, eco design through the shop, studio, classes and events.

Fabrications will be hosting two late night shopping evenings with mulled wine, mince pies and a free sustainable gift wrapping service using vintage scarves and the Japanese art of ‘Furoshiki’.

Downstairs in their ‘Imaginerium’ craft space, two festive activities are on offer:

Wednesday 13th December : Christmas Wild Wreath making with Demaris Copus (all materials provided)
Wednesday 20th December: Christmas Pennant making with The Make Escape Team (all materials provided)

All of December, Barley will be working on special ‘Remember Me’ commissions for precious Christmas gifts . Bring your children’s clothes, school uniforms or lost loved ones items and she will transform them with creativity and care into cushions, quilts, bears or perhaps something else? On Saturday 9th December go and meet Barley at her shop on Broadway Market and see examples of her work at a special ‘Meet the Maker’ day.
